Who handles your information
I am Mohammed Shafeek, and I operate FreelanceAccountant.ae. I handle the personal information described here when you visit the website or contact me through the form, phone or WhatsApp. If you become a client, information used for accounting work is also handled under the arrangements agreed for that service and applicable record-keeping requirements.
Information I receive
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address and message. You can also provide your mobile number, company name and the service you are asking about. If you call or message me, I receive the details you choose to share through that channel.
The website host, Vercel, may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, timestamps, referring page, and an approximate city or country derived from your IP address. This helps deliver, maintain and protect the website.
Please do not send passwords or sensitive financial documents in an initial enquiry.
How I use it
- To answer your question, arrange a consultation or prepare a quote you requested.
- If we agree to work together, to provide the service and keep records required for that work.
- To operate and secure the website, respond to technical issues, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where applicable, I use enquiry details to take steps you request before an agreement, provide agreed services or meet legal obligations.
I do not use enquiry details for automated decisions or advertising campaigns.
Service providers and sharing
The website is hosted by Vercel. When you submit the enquiry form, your message is sent through Resend to my configured business inbox. Those providers process information to deliver and support their services, and may retain technical records under their own settings and policies.
If you choose to contact me through WhatsApp, your message is also handled by WhatsApp under its privacy policy. I do not sell your contact details. I may disclose information if required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights or site security.
These providers may process information outside the UAE, depending on their infrastructure and service settings. See their privacy notices for details about their processing and safeguards.
Storage and retention
The website does not save enquiries in its own database. Form submissions are delivered as email and may remain in my inbox and in the providers’ systems. I keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to respond, manage any agreed service, meet legal or accounting duties, or resolve a dispute. Providers may retain their own copies or logs according to their service settings.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising tools, or set analytics and advertising cookies. The hosting provider may process technical connection and log information to deliver and protect the site. You can read more in Vercel’s privacy notice and manage cookies through your browser.
Your privacy requests
Under applicable data protection law, including the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 where it applies, you may ask for information about how your data is used, request correction or erasure, ask to restrict processing, object in circumstances set by law, or request transfer where technically feasible. Legal conditions and exceptions may apply.
